The first non-hold'em event of the 2021 WSOP schedule took place Friday evening with the 2021 World Series of Poker Online Event #16: $600 PLO8 6-Handed attracting 498 total entries to create a $268,920 prize pool.
After more than 11 hours of play, Allen "Acnyc718" Chang won his second WSOP bracelet and the $61,394 top prize after defeating Edwin "YungFlipWell" Roman in heads-up play.
The victory comes one year and ten days after he won his first WSOP bracelet last year in Event #5: $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em Freezeout. Chang, to The Hendon Mob, has $215,567 in live tournament earnings including a career-best $49,039 for finishing seventh in the 2010 Borgata Spring Poker Open Championship Event.
