Russia’s Aleksei Vandyshev came from behind heads-up to win Event #27: $5,000 MAIN EVENT Online Championship of the 2021 GGPoker WSOP Online.
Vandyshev outlasted 4,092 entrants over 27 opening days and a Day 2 with 720 returning players to claim the coveted WSOP gold bracelet and $2,543,072. The 4,092 entrants fell just short of the $20,000,000 guaranteed prize pool.
Brazil’s Edson "CrownUpTsu" Tsutsumi Jr came into the final day as chip leader, with Vandyshev not far behind him, and the pair were the last two standing to fight for the bracelet after an exciting final table.
