September is usually the month when online poker players return from the outdoors, and once again resume playing poker in large numbers. This is once again true this month and is in no small part due to the excitement in the online poker world created with the return of the World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) to PokerStars.
While it is true that the biggest poker festival of the year is taking place right now, other sites are also benefiting from more players returning to their computers. This includes the world's second largest real-money online poker site, 888poker, who last week increased its guaranteed prize pools on many of its tournaments and plans to do the same this week as well.
