2015 PokerNews Cup Main Event Day 1a: Lithuania's Rytas Stanyukinas In The Lead

Nearly seven hours after the tournament director pronounced the 'shuffle up and deal' that officially opened the ninth Main Event in the history of the PokerNews Cup, 19 survivors managed to bag their chips for Sunday's Day 2.

The first of the four starting flights in the schedule witnessed 98 entries, with 86 brave players who decided to show up at the King's Casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic, despite the torrential rain that hit the city almost non-stop during the whole day.

The survivor's troop is lead by Lithuania's Rytas Stanyukinas, who ended the day as the event's chip leader with a stack of 446,000 after 14 levels of play.
