News broke last night that the Raiders would be playing their home games at the San Francisco Giants’ Oracle Park, formerly known as AT&T Park. The Raiders reached a deal with the Giants to use Oracle Park but it hasn’t been made official yet. Once the NFL approves the deal and the 49ers waive their territorial rights then it will be final. Oracle Park likely would seat between 38,000 and 40,000 fans for football games. The XFL’s San Francisco Demons played at AT&T park in 2001, the Cal Bears played home games there in 2011 and the ballpark hosted a college football bowl game from 2002 through 2013.
