The Dallas Cowboys free agency has been rather quiet, but they made a big splash in NFL free agency by signing the former pro bowler to help fill the void left by Cole Beasley. Randall Cobb to the Cowboys in free agency shores up Dak Prescott’s receiving corps, following the loss of WR Cole Beasley to the Buffalo Bills. Randall Cobb had 38 receptions for 383 yards and 2 touchdowns in 2018, while only playing in 9 games. Cobb has 470 receptions, 5,524 yards and 41 touchdowns in eight seasons with the Green Bay Packers. Cobb has been named to one pro-bowl during his career and is 28 years old, one year younger than Cole Beasley. The Cowboys are coming off a disappointing end to the 2018 season, it will be interesting to see how they bounce back in 2019. The Cowboys will have a new-look offense after firing Scott Linehan and promoting Kellen Moore to offensive coordinator. The Cowboys also re-signed Tavon Austin, so Dak Prescott should have an above-average receiving corps surrounding him in 2019 with Amari Cooper & Michael Gallup leading the way.
