Description
Michigan Football bounced back in a big way, defeating Rutgers 52-0 in week 5 of the 2019 College Football season. Shea Patterson played with confidence and Josh Gattis’ offense looked much improved. Could it be because Gattis was calling the game from the sideline? James Yoder, host of the Michigan Football Report, answered questions about the Wolverines offense in a LIVE reaction video filmed on Saturday. Check it out here: https://youtu.be/765MM04mOeQ Ronnie Bell led the team in receptions, finishing the day with 6 receptions for 83 yards. Shea Patterson was able to distribute the ball to eight different receivers, including Donovan-Peoples Jones for 62 yards and Nico Collins for 59 yards and a touchdown. While Josh Gattis and the offense looked good on tape, are they actually improving or was it just because they were playing an unranked Rutgers team? Should fans be impressed by the win? Gattis was animated on the sideline, congratulating players on touchdowns and visibly frustrated with referees. Against Rutgers, the Wolverines doubled their season scoring average and racked up 476 total yards. The passing game averaged 12 yards a throw and the run game was responsible for five touchdowns. It's safe to say that Gattis will call more games from the sideline. Here’ s a full list of questions answered on today’s show: Josh Gattis play calling from booth or sideline?
