Description
Michigan Football got their fifth straight win over Rutgers on Saturday in the Big House, 52-0. Michigan did something it hasn’t done all season-- scored on the opening drive of the game. Shea Patterson had three rushing touchdowns on the day and Don Brown’s defense held Rutgers to less than 200 total yards of offense. James Yoder answers questions about Jim Harbaugh, Michigan’s offense, defense and more in this Michigan Football Report. This video was filmed as part our LIVE reaction video following the shutout win over Rutgers, watch here: https://youtu.be/765MM04mOeQ Shea Patterson didn’t play in the 4th quarter, allowing Joe Milton to get some live game snaps. Milton was 3 of 4 for 59 yards, a touchdown pass to Giles Jackson and a rushing touchdown. Michigan entered this week’s game ranked #20, but where will the Wolverines stack up after they dominated Rutgers in a 52-0 blowout? And if Josh Gattis and the offense continues with this efficiency, could Michigan finish the season with a winning record in the Big Ten? Here’s a full list of questions answered in this Michigan Football Mailbag: Offense getting better or just a poor showing by Rutgers? Should fans be impressed by the win? McGrone start over Glasgow? Joe Milton’s performance Michigan ranking after dominant win? Winning record in the Big Ten? Should Shea have played the entire game? Thoughts on Gattis’ play calling? Cam McGrone showed his ability to make an impact on defense. Rutgers QB Artur Sitkowski was under pressure throughout Saturday’s game and McGrone came away with some big hits. You wouldn’t know it by looking at the stats, one tackle and 1 QB hurry, but the redshirt freshman caught the attention of fans and coaches alike. So, should McGrone be starting over Glasgow who struggled? SUBSCRIBE: Michigan Football Report with James Yoder is powered by Chat Sports.
