DALLAS -- The Penguins have assigned forward Radim Zohorna to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and moved goalie Louis Domingue to the taxi squad.
Zohorna, 25, appeared in one game during his most recent stint with the Penguins, recording an assist against San Jose Sunday.
He has four goals and five assists in 21 games in Wilkes-Barre this season.
Removing Zohorna and Domingue from the NHL roster could be an indication that Evgeni Malkin, who has not played since undergoing knee surgery during the offseason, and Jeff Carter, who is recovering from COVID-19, are ready to return to active duty.
