WR Brown to honor Fernandez, Slice with cleats

PITTSBURGH -- Steelers reciever Antonio Brown's latest cleat tribute features posthumous South Florida athletes Jose Fernandez and Kimbo Slice.

The cleats made the rounds on social media Friday morning, and though the Steelers wide receiver confirmed from his locker that he had a special shoe planned for Sunday's game in Miami, he couldn't "spill the beans" just yet.

He later tweeted images of them Friday afternoon.

Slice, a former MMA fighter, died in June due to heart-related issues. Fernandez, a Miami Marlins ace, died last month in a boat accident.
