Back in July, a starting lineup featuring Antonio Brown, Martavis Bryant and Eli Rogers wouldn’t have caused much of a stir. In fact, that’s the way it was supposed look this season. Brown would have his usual spot as No. 1 receiver; Bryant would resume his starting spot on the other side and Rogers would occupy the slot after a successful first season in the NFL last season.
It didn’t work out that way for a variety of reasons, most notably the ascension of rookie JuJu Smith-Schuster, who usurped their positions and has taken the NFL by storm.
