The Steelers cleaned house in their secondary when they cut three veterans last month. Two of them landed jobs this week, and the Steelers have replaced them with two others.
Cornerback William Gay, who has played in all 176 games since the Steelers drafted him in 2007, will get a chance to extend that streak after he signed with the New York Giants on Thursday.
Thrilled that William Gay will be continuing his outstanding career as he signs w/ @Giants for what will be his 12th @NFL season! #bigplay

It is the second time Gay has signed with another team after leaving the Steelers.
