Told they should be quiet and play their sport, yet criticized if they don’t speak up about certain social topics. 2020 has been difficult for many, and at least one member of the Pittsburgh Steelers realizes this, and knows talk is cheap.
When every athlete was taking to social media to give their thoughts on any number of issues, Vince Williams decided to put his money where his mouth was. He did so by teaming with The Education Partnership, a local nonprofit organization, to provide over 1,000 students in the Pittsburgh area with new and refurbished laptops and basic school supplies.
