The Pittsburgh Steelers have had just 3 head coaches since 1969, and it appears that 50-year trend will continue a little further.
Pittsburgh recently gave head coach, Mike Tomlin, a one-year extension that locks him up through 2021:
The #Steelers have struck a deal on a one-year contract extension for coach Mike Tomlin to keep him under contract through at least the 2021 season.
This deal is not surprising, as the Steelers have done this song and dance with Tomlin in the past. However, it’s interesting to note that the Rooney family hasn’t given Tomlin a longer extension.
