‘We’re Gonna Need Him’: Zach Azzanni Backs WR Roman Wilson, Believes He’ll Have Impact

It has been a bit of a disappointing rookie season for Pittsburgh Steelers’ wide receiver Roman Wilson.

Drafted in the third round out of Michigan, Wilson was expected to be a key contributor offensively for the Black and Gold on the season under offensive coordinator Arthur Smith.

But an ankle injury on the first day of padded practice at training camp in Latrobe at Saint Vincent College derailed his start to the season and had him trying to jump on a moving train after missing all of the preseason.

Then, once he was back on the moving train, Wilson made his debut for the Steelers against the Las Vegas Raiders on the road in Week 6, though he played just five snaps.
