Pittsburgh Steelers OLB T.J. Watt was a guest on The Rich Eisen Show ahead of the Pittsburgh Steelers Monday Night Football matchup with the Cleveland Browns, and Watt talked about the importance of being able to stop Nick Chubb to help set up the pass rush.
“We know they like to run the football, even if you’re stopping it early in the game, they’re going to continue to run the football,” Watt said. “Any time a team is running the ball on you is demoralizing, and that’s why offenses like to do it. But it’s important for us to come out and smash the run early, that’s what we talk about each and every week but it’s more about doing it and making teams one-dimensional.
