The Pro Football Hall of Fame Selection Committee meetings took place on Tuesday to determine which of this year’s finalists will make up the Class of 2021. As part of those meetings, Hall of Famer and former NFL general manager Bill Polian was asked to make the case for former Pittsburgh Steelers scout Bill Nunn as a contributor.
As part of his presentation, which you can see below, Polian made sure to highlight Nunn’s impact on the college scouting process and especially how he targeted historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs). Polian made sure to recap the impact Nunn’s scouting process and how it was extremely vital in helping the Steelers become a dynasty in the 1970s.
