The Pittsburgh Steelers fell to the Detroit Lions in the preseason finale in Detroit by a score of 24-17. However, this was by far the Steelers’ most encouraging performance, and one they needed to carry some momentum into Week 1 when they travel to Atlanta to take on the Falcons. All four Steelers quarterbacks played well to close out the preseason. Russell Wilson and Justin Fields both led their first touchdown drives of the preseason and looked good in the process.
