Richardson was waived by the Steeelers in order to make room from defensive end Johnny Maxey, who was signed off the team’s 10-man practice squad.
This will be Richardson’s second stint on the Steelers practice squad this season. After starting the 2016 regular season on the Steelers 53-man roster, the running back was waived and then signed to the practice squad after starting running back Le’Veon Bell finished serving his three-game suspension.
