BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. — Returning for its sophomore season, CNBC’s six-episode “Adventure Capitalists” (10 p.m. Tuesday, CNBC) is basically “Shark Tank” for products used in the great outdoors, from a bike with a revolutionary suspension system to off-road skateboards.
Former Steelers wide receiver prospect Jeremy Bloom, better known as an Olympic freestyle skier, is one of three athlete investors who are pitched products while on location in the great outdoors (Moab, Utah, in next week’s episode).
Mr. Bloom was with the Philadelphia Eagles before joining the Steelers for eight months in 2008, getting released before the 2008-09 NFL regular season began.
