During his Tuesday morning press conference, Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin let it be known that the team’s top-two running backs, Le’Veon Bell and DeAngelo Williams, will both sit out the Thursday night preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Because of that decision, we can probably expect to see backup running backs Fitzgerald Toussaint and Daryl Richardson to receive quite a bit of action in that game.
The battle between Toussaint and Richardson has been a fun one to watch develop over the course of training camp and on Tuesday Tomlin was asked if one currently has an advantage over the other.
