According to a few media reports Monday, Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Ladarius Green was able to get some work in on the side during the team’s training camp practice under the watchful eye of a team physician. Even so, the Steelers new tight end remains on the Active PUP list and thus not expected to play Thursday night in the team’s home preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Last week, it was reported that Green’s surgically repaired ankle is now healthy enough for him to practice and that recurring headaches is the reason the team hasn’t cleared him from removal from the PUP list.
