Tomlin Rules Out Five Steelers Players For Sunday Preseason Game Against Packers

The Pittsburgh Steelers will host the Green Bay Packers Sunday afternoon at Heinz Field and on Friday, head coach Mike Tomlin announced during his press conference that five players have been ruled out for that contest.

Linebacker Lawrence Timmons, running back Josh Harris, wide receiver David Nelson, linebacker Vince Williams and wide receiver C.J. Goodwin will all be sideline against the Packers, according to Tomlin. Timmons is suffering from turf toe, but Tomlin doesn’t view that injury as being a serious one.
