As things stand right now, the Pittsburgh Steelers will start their 2016 regular season with injured second-year cornerback Senquez Golson safely tucked away on their 53-man roster as he continues to recover from the surgery that he had on his foot as a result of him suffering a Lisfranc injury during the early stages of training camp. During his Tuesday press conference, Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin was asked if Golson’s current spot on the team’s 53-man roster is a fluid situation being as the team might wind up needing it should future injuries to other players occur.
