Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin addressed the media Wednesday ahead of the team’s Friday night preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars and he shed some light on which players will see action this weekend.
“Our intentions at this point is that all healthy men are going to play in the football game,” said Tomlin. “How much they play will be determined positionally. Not only in terms of some of the established guys we need to see, but the quality and amount of depth behind them. We’ll make those determinations at the 11th hour to give all the guys that are partial participants, or nursing minor injuries associated with training camp and the preseason, to give them the best opportunity to participate in the game.
