Tom Pelissero Wonders If Russell Wilson’s Browns Meeting Puts Pressure On Steelers, Giants To Make A Move

As the Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Giants continue to wait on a decision from 41-year-old quarterback Aaron Rodgers, veteran quarterback Russell Wilson seemingly isn’t waiting around.

Wilson is set to meet with the Cleveland Browns and then the Giants as the musical chairs at quarterback continue to be sorted out in the NFL. The meeting with the Browns is rather surprising, considering Cleveland just traded for Kenny Pickett and holds the No. 2 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

But the Browns saw Wilson up close and personal during the 2024 season and might be eyeing him as a way to get back into contention after signing Myles Garrett, who had requested a trade, to a lucrative contract extension.
