Turns out, the subject of Todd Haley’s ire was not Ben Roethlisberger on that two-point conversion confusion in Indianapolis Sunday.
That’s what Haley said anyway on Tuesday after he was caught by TV cameras screaming for someone to shut up among other unprintables. It was assumed he was sending those instructions to his quarterback and even his daughters at home thought so.
“I wasn’t yelling at Ben,” Haley said after Steelers practice. “I had two of my daughters send me the clip and say, ‘Dad, why were you yelling at him?' I was like, I wasn’t yelling at Ben, I was yelling at an unnamed coach that I won’t talk about right now.
