voted outside linebacker T.J. Watt as team MVP for the 2023 season today. It’ll be Watt’s fourth Steelers MVP honor since 2019, tying him with Antonio Brown for the most selections in team history.
Watt is having another excellent year, currently tied for the NFL-lead in sacks with 17.0 on the season. He’s also the Steelers all-time sack record holder with 94.5 over his career up to this point.
Since being drafted in 2017, Watt has been named to the Pro Bowl five times, received three All-Pro nods, and been named the defensive player of the year once in 2021.
