According to SPOTRAC, the Steelers will have eight unrestricted free agents (UFA) heading into the 2020 NFL season. Of the eight pending unrestricted free agents, the Steelers, in my opinion, must try to resign Sean Davis, B.J. Finney, and Nick Vannett. For reasons that we will discuss shortly, the aforementioned players represent what free agency has become for the Steelers.
While it would be great to see all eight players re-sign with us, the reality of free agency in today’s NFL is such that not all of the Steelers free agents, unrestricted or restricted, will be re-signed.
