Three former Steelers among Hall of Fame finalists

Three former Steelers, including guard Alan Faneca in his first year of eligibility, are among the 15 modern-day finalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame class of 2016.

Former linebacker Kevin Greene and Tony Dungy, a former safety and assistant coach with the Steelers, also made the final 15.

Faneca played 13 seasons, his first 10 with the Steelers, who drafted him in the first round in 1998 from LSU. He missed just one game in his entire career and became a starter as a rookie. He earned first-team All-Pro six times and was on nine Pro Bowl teams.
