‘The Tools Are Insane’: Yahoo’s Nate Tice Sees ‘Pretty Gifty’ Player In Jalen Milroe, Believes Steelers A Fit

The Pittsburgh Steelers have a major need at quarterback, both for the 2025 season and well into the future. They’ve been searching for that franchise quarterback since Ben Roethlisberger retired after the 2021 season.

The franchise quarterback might not be in the 2025 NFL Draft class, a crop of quarterbacks that has plenty of detractors. But for Yahoo! Sports’ Nate Tice, who appeared on The Mina Kimes Show Wednesday, there is one quarterback that is a great fit for the Steelers.

Alabama’s Jalen Milroe is that guy for Tice.

Tice, who was a quarterback at Wisconsin and is the son of former Minnesota Vikings’ head coach Mike Tice, stated that Milroe has insane tools is one of the “giftiest” quarterbacks in the class, profiling as a guy who would be a good fit for the Steelers, even if they were to sign the 41-year-old Aaron Rodgers.
