The Steelers have already experienced one major change in the secondary — the addition of former Penn State defensive coordinator Tom Bradley as coach of the cornerbacks and safeties.
More, though, will likely follow, especially at the safety position.
It will involve changing players, changing positions and, the Steelers hope, changing results.
The Steelers allowed 10 plays of 50 or more yards in the regular season, tied for most in the NFL. Of those, all but two were pass plays. They allowed 13 completions of at least 40 yards, third most in the AFC, not counting the two they yielded to the Jacksonville Jaguars in the AFC divisional round loss at Heinz Field.
