The Steelers’ first loss of 2020 didn’t sting as much as I thought it would

The Steelers trailed 20-17 and were just over two minutes away from suffering their first loss of the 2020 season at the hands of the Washington Football Team on Monday evening at Heinz Field.

But I wasn’t worried, not with quarterback Ben Roethlisberger poised to lead the offense downfield to either tie the score or, more preferably and perhaps predictably, win the game. Just as Roethlisberger was taking his first shotgun snap of what surely would be a memorable drive, I was about to text this to some relatives: “Ben with two minutes? WFT is screwed.
