The Steelers were most successful as an offense against the Colts when they ran the no-huddle. They ray eight plays from the no-huddle in the game and gained 65 yards, including 51 yards on consecutive passing plays to Martavis Bryant and Antonio Brown with less than a minute to play that set up the winning field goal.
Overall, they averaged 8.1 yards per play from the no-huddle while the 54 plays when they huddled averaged 4.6 yards per play.
It’s not a well-kept secret Ben Roethlisberger would like to run more no-huddle, and if his words Tuesday morning are any indication, it might be a big part of the game plan against the Titans Thursday night.
