The Pittsburgh Steelers’ 91-man preseason roster seems to be a roller coaster up until the day when cut downs happen this Saturday at 4 p.m. ET. What I mean by that is how the Steelers have parted ways with Brian Allen, who was waived injured, and were awarded Jhavonte Dean off the waiver wire after he was released by the Cleveland Browns.
The shock here is the release of Allen. Allen survived two years of cut downs, and the hope was he could be the versatile defensive back who could play both cornerback and safety.
