Steelers coach Mike Tomlin and general manager Kevin Colbert attended the LSU pro day last week, and for the second time in three days the Steelers are playing host to a former Tigers player on a top 30 visit.
LSU has several players who are projected as first- or second-round picks, but the Steelers are looking at a couple of prospects who are considered late-round picks or free agents.
Receiver Russell Gage, who is known for his special teams abilities, is visiting the Steelers Wednesday. Former Tigers fullback John David Moore visited the Steelers Monday.
Gage, who is 6 feet and 184 pounds, had 21 receptions for 285 yards and three touchdowns as a senior last season.
