The salary cap increases almost $10 million dollars next season.

The Pittsburgh Steelers, and the rest of the NFL, have reportedly been told what the 2018-2019 NFL Salary Cap will be. According to Field Yates of ESPN, teams were notified of the number being set a $177.2 million dollars.

While not too long ago projections suggested a salary cap could climb as high as $179, or higher, the $177.2 number certainly is a hefty increase from 2017.
