No one wants to lose. The Pittsburgh Steelers had a real opportunity to begin competing for the top spot in the AFC, but after a loss in Denver, they’re fighting to regain ground on the rest of the conference.
Believe it or not, though, their Week 12 loss came at the right time. Heading into the worst part of their schedule, Pittsburgh timed their third loss of the season to perfection.
Their upcoming schedule features the Charges, Saints, Texans, Patriots and Bengals. With all but Cincinnati competing as one of the top spots in the NFL, losing one of their next five matchups is going to be much more detrimental than losing in Week 12.
