It seems like it was just a few years ago that the Pittsburgh Steelers drafted linebacker Lawrence Timmons in the first round of 2007 NFL Draft and the organization certainly hit the sweet spot with his selection. Timmons, who is now wrapping up his 10th season in the NFL, will make his 100th consecutive regular-season start on Sunday at Heinz Field against the Baltimore Ravens and that’s quite an impressive milestone.
In case you weren’t aware of it, Timmons, who is now 30 years of age, has the longest games-started streak (99) in the NFL when it comes to linebackers.
