The release of former third-round pick Dri Archer reminds the Steelers, like every NFL team, can miss on draft picks.
One player that's validating his second-round billing -- Stephon Tuitt, who's missed the last two games with a sprained knee but is listed as probable for the Raiders game.
Safety Will Allen (ankle) also returns to the lineup.
Tuitt is still refining all areas of his game but his presence is felt up front. He's got the strength to win at the line. He's starting to garner double teams on occasion. And his 3.5 sacks through the first six games led the team.
