PITTSBURGH – Steelers defensive players are doing a lot of talking on the sideline, using a lot of hand signals, shaking their heads a lot, trying to solve the Brock Osweiler problem.
Thirty minutes into a game with huge playoff implications and they are still flummoxed.
Osweiler recorded a perfect passer rating of 158.3 in the first quarter as the catalyst for the Broncos’ 27-13 halftime lead.
The Steelers will need a colossal second half from the offense to have a chance. Not much else is stopping Demaryius Thomas' vicious stiff arm on cornerback Antwon Blake late in the second quarter to cap another long scoring drive for Denver.
