Things did not go well for veteran wide receiver Quez Watkins Friday night in the preseason opener between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Houston Texans.
Watkins got the first crack at returning punts for the Steelers. On the first one, he called fair catch with plenty of room in front of him. Then, on the second one, Watkins muffed it, leading to some taunting from Houston Texans’ punter Tommy Townsend, as captured by hot mics on the field.
“Catch the ball, bitch!” Townsend can be heard shouting on the field to Watkins.
