The success of the 2024 Pittsburgh Steelers will come down to how much of an upgrade they truly brought in at quarterback.
Russell Wilson signed with Pittsburgh for the veteran minimum at the start of free agency in March, and the Steelers traded for Justin Fields shortly after.
Star wide receiver George Pickens was asked about Wilson after the final day of training camp, to which he gave his new quarterback a glowing review.
“He’s a very good leader,” Pickens said. “He’s more of a verbal guy than the other Q’s for sure. his enthusiasm is the best thing about him.
