According to Howard Balzer, the Steelers brought in free agent S Jack Tocho for a tryout on Saturday.
Tocho, 21, was taken in the seventh-round of this year’s NFL draft by the Vikings. He signed a four-year, $2.47 million contract with the Vikings but was, unfortunately, cut loose as their trimmed their roster down to 53 players.
The Vikings later added him to their practice squad before eventually releasing him.
During his college career at North Carolina State, Tocho recorded 122 tackles, one sack, six interceptions, and 26 pass defenses over the course of four years and 45 games.
