The Steelers updated their rolodex of free agent safeties on Tuesday. Per NFL insider Aaron Wilson, Pittsburgh has worked out Eric Rowe and Marquise Blair.
Rowe should be a familiar name to some Steelers fans. He was more or less signed off the couch late last season to fill in for an injury-stricken Steelers secondary.
The 6’1, 205-pound defensive back was a second-round pick for the Eagles back in 2015. With the Steelers, Rowe clearly didn't have his former speed, but he still played well, recording an interception, forced fumble, two passes defensed, and 29 total tackles in three regular season starts.
