The Steelers will take on the Detroit Lions Sunday night without three starters and a top reserve. Right tackle Marcus Gilbert will miss the game with a hamstring injury and receiver Martavis Bryant for disciplinary reasons after Bryant requested a trade via social media last week.
Also missing the game will be starting defensive end Stephon Tuitt, who also missed last week’s game against the Bengals due to a back injury.
The Steelers also deactivated tight end Vance McDonald, cornerback Brian Allen, offensive tackle Jerald Hawkins and quarterback Josh Dobbs.
Detroit receiver Golden Tate is active for the Lions.
