The Pittsburgh Steelers haven’t decided Chris Boswell’s fate. It appears that will be determined by the quality of tryouts they get later today. Mike Tomlin confirmed the team will look at outside options to provide a boost to the Steelers’ kicking game but included the possibility of keeping Boswell, too.
“Here’s our position as we push into this next opportunity,” Tomlin said at his Tuesday press conference. “We acknowledge Chris has struggled. We acknowledge Chris has struggled to find consistent footing. We’re willing to explore options to give us the very best chances of that ball going through the uprights this weekend.
