The Pittsburgh Steelers officially waived WR Dez Stewart from injured reserve with an injury settlement.
Stewart, 24, wound up going undrafted out of Ohio Dominican back in May of last year but later signed on with the Buccaneers before being waived with an injury designation after just a few weeks.
After clearing waivers, he reverted to the Buccaneers’ injured reserve but was cut loose a month later. He had a brief stint with the Redskins and later signed on to the Packers’ practice squad last season.
The Steelers later signed him to a contract before waiving him with an injury designation last week.
