It’s a rough time of year to be injured in the NFL. Wide receiver Tarik Black, who signed with the Steelers on July 31, was waived with an injury designation, the team announced Tuesday.
To add a healthy name to the depth chart, Pittsburgh is set to add wide receiver T.J. Luther, as reported by Steelers Now’s Alan Saunders. Luther previously worked out for the team on August 5. Here’s what we wrote then:
Luther played college football at Wolford and Gardner-Webb. His last NCAA season came in 2022, where he recorded 57 catches for 1,007 yards and eight touchdowns, averaging a whopping 17.
