The initial snap counts from the Pittsburgh Steelers Friday night preseason win over the New Orleans Saints are now in and here’s a few observations from the numbers.
The Steelers starting offensive live sans tackle Marcus Gilbert played 41 snaps Friday night. Gilbert surely would have as well had he not injured his elbow.
Newer tackle Wade Hansen played 29 snaps Friday night.
Starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and wide receiver Antonio Brown only played 19 snaps and bot looked fantastic. New quarterback Bryn Renner only played 8 snaps at the end of the game and did not attempt a pass.
